Vegan Chocolate Smoothie Recipes

Having a really healthy smoothie recipe can be as easy as pie. Well, every smoothie you make at home has the potential to be the healthiest option for you and your family, especially since you have control over the ingredients of the drink.

There are some people who insist on making a smoothie from scratch – and by scratch, I mean raw ingredients, such as beans, real cocoa, etc. and not the store-bought commercially-made processed ingredients like chocolate syrup, etc.

Going vegan on smoothies means going really healthy, too. Using the only the freshest, preservative-free ingredients to create these refreshing beverages means your body receives optimal nutrition from the best sources. But this may mean a hardier blender or juicer is needed to break down all those raw ingredients. It may also mean putting in a little more time than what you need for a regular smoothie. But the extra work is all worth it, believe me.

Nobody can resist chocolate – well, most people can’t. So if you’re interested in going vegan but hesitant of what it would taste like, you can start off with vegan chocolate smoothies. The chocolate will help create a great tasting drink with all the benefits of a vegan smoothie.
For starters, here are some of recipes you can try:

A simple vegan chocolate smoothie

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seed (or cashew nuts)
  • 1 and a half cups of frozen blueberries

  • half a teaspoon of green powder (optional).
  1. Put all ingredients in the blender.
