Bananarama Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 3 seedless dates
  • 1/2 c vanilla yogurt
  • 1 c low-fat milk

This smoothie contains lots of fiber and is really sweet – perfect dessert to end your meal. Place the banana, dates, yogurt and milk into your blender and blend for approximately 45 seconds or until smooth and even. Pour into a glass and enjoy at once.

Banana Iced Latte Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 c low-fat milk
  • 1/4 c strong coffee
  • 2 ice cubes or 1 c crushed ice

This banana latte smoothie recipe is perfect for summer and will give you that little pick me up or energy blast you may need. To make, simply place the banana, milk, coffee and ice cubes in a blender and blend for between 40 - 60 seconds. Serve and enjoy.

Goody-Two-Shoes Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • ¼ c plain granola
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • ½ c plain yogurt
  • 5 ice-cubes (if desired)

Combine all ingredients in your blender and blend for approx 30-40 seconds.

Isla Tropicana Smoothie

  • ¼ c milk
  • ½ c strawberry yogurt
  • ¼ c crushed ice
  • 1 banana, peeled and chopped
  • ½ tsp honey
  • ½ c pineapple chunks

This fruity combination is great to serve at parties. Put all ingredients into the blender except the honey. Blend for about 20 seconds. Add then add the honey and blend for 10 seconds more. Pour into flute glasses and serve!

Jamaican Banana Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and chopped
  • fresh ginger
  • 4 large strawberries, halved
  • 1 c cranberry juice
  • 2 c crushed ice

Use as much ginger as you desire. This tangy and refreshing drink tastes as tempting as it looks. To make this smoothie drink, put everything into a blender. Blend until smooth. For an added touch, garnish with mint leaves.
